Four Seasons Diriyah: A New Landmark of Heritage Luxury Opening in 2028

Four Seasons is set to open a new luxury property in Diriyah in 2028 - a striking blend of Najdi heritage, modern design and ultra-refined hospitality, positioned beside the UNESCO-listed At-Turaif district.

Saudi Arabia’s historic Diriyah – the birthplace of the Kingdom, is undergoing one of the most ambitious cultural and architectural transformations in the world. At the centre of this evolution stands a future landmark: Four Seasons Hotel Diriyah, scheduled to open in 2028.

Four Seasons Diriyah

Positioned beside the UNESCO-listed At-Turaif district, the hotel forms a key part of the wider Diriyah masterplan, a development reshaping the area into a global cultural capital. The project aims to honour the region’s deep heritage while setting a new benchmark for modern luxury in the Middle East.

The design of Four Seasons Diriyah reflects this balance. Drawing inspiration from traditional Najdi architecture, the property incorporates warm textures, handcrafted details and the geometric forms characteristic of the region’s most iconic structures. Yet the reinterpretation feels distinctly contemporary, resulting in an aesthetic that is both rooted in history and aligned with international design sensibilities.

Perched along the edge of Wadi Hanifah, the hotel is imagined as a serene retreat. It will offer around 150 rooms and suites, many with private outdoor spaces crafted for sunset views and stargazing. Guests can expect two tranquil outdoor pools, a world-class spa and a curated selection of dining concepts that blend regional flavours with refined global influences. Every element is shaped to create a sense of calm and connection – not only to the environment but also to the heritage that surrounds it.

Beyond the hotel itself, Diriyah is experiencing a remarkable renaissance. The district will soon host museums, galleries, high-end retail, open-air plazas and a growing collection of luxury hotels. Four Seasons Diriyah is positioned to become a cornerstone of this new landscape, appealing to travellers who seek culture, design and elevated comfort in equal measure.
